A fine balance of cold and money

Yesterday I walked home from Harvard Square in the 19 degree weather, getting smacked in the face by little shards of glass that (on closer inspection) turned out to be round little balls of snow. That was okay, but by the time I got home my thighs were tight and aching in that special "if I were still doing tae kwon do this would definitely have turned into a muscle strain by now" way. Hmm, said I, standing at the bus stop in the mornings is not going to go well if I don't shell out for a longer coat soon. Luckily, Land's End made it easy to spend even more than I was hoping to. Good. Stay off my sensitive hammies, you nasty cold stuff.

This morning it was 11 degrees outside and 74 inside. Heh heh. Primal feelings of satisfaction, anyone? I am homo sapiens yuppius, owner of new windows and massssss-ter of the elements!

I have little else to say except that I like vacation and wish I could stay on it for another 5 weeks or so.
