Sleepover over; sleep, unfortunately, also over
Whew. From 7 PM last night to noon today was probably, no, definitely the best party I've ever thrown. Can I just say how happy it makes my white-trash inner 12-year-old to be able to have people over (for a sleepover, no less) without being mortified? And this party had, like, centerpieces, and pomegranate wine. Pretty classy for a bachelorette bash. We just ate and watched girly movies and got text messages from the guys at the bachelor party -- which was also more classy than some, although I'm not convinced it was wise of them to try playing Trivial Pursuit: the 90s edition at two in the morning while stoned.
Considering cleaning in advance, grocery shopping, setting up for stuff, facilitating the actual party and cleaning up, I haven't done anything else this weekend. Except work out. And considering what my diet has been for the last 24 hours, it's good that that is the exception.
