Yeah, I have a bit more info on it now. I was tracking it during the day at work, because as a Blogger engineer I have some professional interest in our policies and whether/when we'd take this blog down. (I'm also rather sickly fascinated.)
I present the following:
1. I posted anonymously, stating that impersonating another person is a violation of Blogger policy (giving the link) and saying that there's no proof of violation. My comment disappeared quickly. Why would the real Lori do that?
2. I saw other comments saying that comments with any sort of "proof" that the blog was a hoax were also disappearing.
3. There's an article online in a St. Louis paper saying that a sheriff's office is investigating the blog.
So, I guess it's probably fake. Should be interesting to watch it play out. And another thing? Goddamn am I glad they didn't have MySpace yet when I was a teenager.
