Celebrities divorce, friends are traumatized... me, just bored.

Over the weekend I bought pastels, got my butt sore (from the butt blaster, hip extender and adductor machines, not from the out-of-control spanking games--and this is good, because I'm working on my glutes, remember?), and donated a bunch of old shoes to Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe project. And I am now doing more mind-numbing searches for various products and projects that someone far away is interested in. I'm being as incurious as possible. No ma'am, I dunno, I'm just a Google-monkey. Can I please get back to coding soon? However, it is amusing to run across the knowledge that the military initiated a program in 2002 called the Active Denial System. It isn't what it sounds like, but still... tee hee.

Went over to the forums on sffworld.com, where there's a good thread on the best SF short stories ever. But this thread also told me that Richard Bach is now divorced from Leslie. Augh! That was not supposed to happen, especially after The Bridge Across Forever. Grumble. But then, they styled their marriage in a different way than I would want to, anyway. In a marriage of mine it would not be such a bad thing to have different goals.

My friends from my last apartment are up to their usual reality TV-worthy antics, which I'm waiting to get the full scoop on, and I rocked the Casbah over at RR. But mostly I'm bored today.
