Stunning... how does he do this?

I would just like to say how much "The Minstrel" by Jim Stone totally rocks. Jim is one of the two local artists I actually kinda know (the other being Craig Swanson of Perspicuity)... he plays keyboard a lot in Park Street, sometimes Porter, and sells his CDs. He's sold six of them to me so far, because I gave them out as gifts last Xmas. Nobody else likes it as much as me though... I don't know what it is, but it hits my emotional centers just right. Sure, I can hear the slight less-than-professional flaws in the music, but it's like mental morphine. Or maybe shiatsu.

Here I am listening to it and coding, and I feel all peaceful now.

Regarding peaceful music, I should also mention the Kodo concert from a couple of nights ago. There's nothing quite like watching a ripped little Japanese guy in a thong whaling away on a huge deep drum that's as big as he is. I approved completely. :)
