Why paint cats? Hmm, today I'd do it out of sheer boredom
Last night my TKD friend AJ came over to borrow music. It was pretty fun, especially hearing A show her through his music collection, but kind of blew the whole evening, so now I have to do yesterday's chores tonight. And today is boring so far... I'm fighting my chronic ignorance about C++ memory management (errrrrrrgh. Strings are pointers, I know that... intellectually.)
I haven't yet mentioned the book my friend L gave me, Why Paint Cats? It has gorgeous pictures of, well, painted cats. There are some widely varied reactions to it at whypaintcats.com, but unfortunately there's only one picture.... let's see, looks like Amazon did a little better with their "look inside" feature. Here is a link to one of my favorites. Hope it works.
(I had to edit this. Why is the "apathetic" bobel sitting on a tropical island and pulsating happily? I'm switching to "blah".)
