Toddling onward
Wow... the codebase I'm doing little things for now is changing so much every day, with four different people doing lots of tiny things to it constantly. I've never been on such an active codebase before. Ees very exciting.
Several small, good things have gone right since I was upset yesterday.
* I put sea salt on my face and it really calmed down the bumps on my chin. Interesting! Those acne forum people aren't dumb.
* My manager said tons of snippy things about the company we're collaborating with (it's not just me!) and work today's going fine.
* I skipped the dojang and had a good evening with HLM. Ahhhh... decompression.
* We found low prices on flights for our trip to Seattle and Portland next month.... whew!
* Godddamn, is my December social calendar filling up like a sumbitch. I feel popular.
* A Bruegger's Bar has been obtained. Analysis to follow. :)
* Found a dollar bill in the subway station this morning.
One bad thing: it's getting cold enough to really hurt my hamstrings if I work them hard and then go outside. I remember how this worked for me last year... badly! I think I'll go find some dorky super-warm pants at REI and wear them all the time until about March. HLM doesn't mind when I look dorky anyway. :)
