Movie rant!
Looks like it's time for a movie rant...! Much as I enjoyed Reloaded (and it definitely keeps the viewer going from moment to moment), it was not far above disaster on the logical level, and it drives me crazy, nay, batshit, that once again love conquers all. I mean, it doesn't! And I'm not at all sure it does any good to spread the belief that it does... where did the western world get this dumb idea and why does it seem as ubiquitous as the major religions used to be? Just wondering. . Luckily, the plotline still retains the "not quite sure what's going on" angle to keep it all from disintegrating into eye candy, er, I mean nothing but eye candy!
Oh well. Me, today: mostly just being the good little code monkey I should've been all week. It feels nice to be focusing. I beat Gridlock level 40 on this machine, finally. Found my lost watch. And I have a date with HLM tonight--we're going to a restaurant he hasn't been to before, and maybe being in the Central Sq area will be considered a good enough excuse to drop in at Rodney's (used bookstore). It usually is. :)
