Games people play...

Huh. So the Sims 2 is out, and Myst 4 is also out. A nice time to be alive if one has free time and a fast computer. The Sims 2 sounds awesome (it has time, so there's aging! and genetics!) and makes me want to run right out and start having Sim-kids. But... there are no pets yet, and I already have The Sims Unleashed, so I guess I'll be waiting until the parallel expansion pack comes out. Or longer, if I don't have a new computer by then.

Unfortunately, they've found me again. People have found me again. I was doing fine for awhile on about one non-HLM social night per week, and getting a lot done too. Now, I had a dinner last night, condo meeting tonight, dinner on Friday and a breakfast date on Saturday. Gack, people, I do like you, but when do I get to relax, or work out, or do dishes, or...?

Yeah, I'm rather tempted by both of those. You know...we could ummm...combine forces. If you got myst, I'd get sims and then we can swap disks...or burn copies.

Does suggesting that make me a horribly immoral person?

On the matter of socializing...

Funny, last week I felt very pressured to be social. Not pressured by anyone, just that I had lots of commitments. By the time the weekend came along I was virtually rude in my insistence to not be social. Fortunately for [livejournal.com profile] bluechromis, I went out and did lots of pottery, otherwise I think I'd have driven her insane w/ my omnipresence at home! :)
