Bzzzz bzzzzz. Busy bee.

I went and did my duty last night at tae kwon do. I was a bit shaky but didn't actually mess anything up, so I don't see a reason I shouldn't have passed... but don't say congrats just yet, I won't know for sure until tonight. There were so few of us (and nobody higher than us green belts--we got to be top dawgs for the evening) that I think they might have done the belting ceremony for all of us immediately if only everyone had passed; unfortunately, there were some totally screwed up yellow stripes who didn't know which way was up, or the difference between a knife hand strike and a knife hand guarding block. Sigggggghhhhh. So, no belt for me. I went home, made enchiladas, got HLM to teach me the new tango step I missed learning, and went to sleep--mercifully not dreaming that I failed the test. Good, good.

I'm very impressed by craigslist, btw. Having never used it before, I posted a job listing yesterday for an infant care provider to hang out in the chapel basement during the ceremony (to be used, optionally, by the parents of the three-maybe-four babies we have coming to the wedding). Two or so hours later, I had nine applicants and had to remove the posting. I guess I'll be calling all their references tonight.

And now back to work. I was stuck on a bug all day yesterday, a bug I finally figured out in a flash of blinding annoyance on the bus to TKD. So today I should be able to quickly fix it and move on to something useful. We have our first integration meeting in NJ in two weeks--it'd be nice if I could get a move on.
