Ah, the binding together of two lives...

Spent quite a while looking at the legalities of getting married. There are plenty of hoops to jump through in the proper order... in MA you have to get a syphilis test, and before you apply for a marriage license, if you please. The good thing to come out of the day, though, is learning that I can get HLM onto my health insurance as a domestic partner, thus saving him about $230/month, effective immediately. Actually, we found out we could have done it about 8 months ago, as soon as we'd been living together for 6 months, so we're kicking ourselves a little.

I am glad to do this nice thing for him. I fell asleep last night trying to list all the dumb little things he does that let me know he really loves me, and I was by no means done when I konked out. So I want to be good to him too. But I'll try not to let this stop me from quitting if I decide I'm really sick of DSB. :b

Not much...

Six months, at $230 = $1380 = 27,600 minutes on the telephone using 10-10-220 ... but why would you want to be on the phone that long?? So it isn't much of a loss.

Well at least you'll have a couple days to quickly

catch syphilis after you get the license and before you get married. Cuz that's what you want to do right? I mean clearly there must be a history of demand for them feel it necessary to legally regulate all those syphilitics who wish to infect their legally bound partners. Bastards.
