01 01 11, Seattle, Black Swan

Just got back from seeing Black Swan, and I might be turned off ballet for life, but damn does Natalie Portman deserve an Oscar for that performance. I hadn't been expecting so many horror-movie moments... it was like The Shining, except with sex, and everyone wearing beautiful pink torture-shoes. Hmm, hope I don't dream too much tonight.

I'm trying out an Android app called LJ Beetle... if you're reading this then it works.

I've been meaning to see that. Sounds interesting; everything by Aronofsky is a touch creepy.

Only problem I see w/ LjBeetle is it adding the tag line.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting it to be so disturbing either...but amazing, amazing movie with some extremely hot parts. Agreed Portman had better win, and I really liked Mila Kunis too.

Ballet does horrible things to dancers, but its beautiful to watch. I dated two ballerinas and BOTH of them were prone to eating disorders it seemed due to what their instructors told them.

The movie looks awesome though and I'm seeing it this week!

"true grit" was fun if you like westerns at all.
