Jeans

I was welcomed back into the world of shopping, on Sunday, with an incredible 2 out of 4 pairs of jeans I tried on fitting me perfectly. Both are premium brands that retail near $200 new, both bought used at Buffalo Exchange for $26.50 and $27.00 respectively. I'm starting to really like the trend toward more used clothing stores.

Before that, I was poking around and stumbled across this:
http://www.makeyourownjeans.com

It seems pretty legitimate, and for the prices, well worth trying. They have that cross-hatched denim I like but can never seem to find, and it's pretty amazing to be able to specify both front rise and back rise. I'm going to give it a shot at some point... despite Sunday's luck, I'm generally quite hard to fit and have to get the waists of things taken in.

ooh.

Let me know if you try. I'm pretty interested.

i am likewise very curious to hear about the jeans experiment if you make it.

i <3 used clothing stores, and rarely buy elsewhere. but i'm relatively easy to fit, usually.

Let me know if makeyourownjeans.com is legit. They've got some amazing stuff on that site. I've been wanting a green corduroy jacket for years and they'll custom make me one. Better still, they do suits and waistcoats. Oh, how dapper I could be in custom made clothes!
