Argh. Why can't I find this bug... what the hell is going on? I thought I'd find it yesterday, and I looked for it all day, but the data is going in properly and it's coming out wrong and where in the name of francisco d'anconia is it getting modified???

To make matters worse, the Carnegie class was depressing last night for reasons I can't fully articulate, even to myself, and then Queer Eye, my favorite dose of catty good cheer and interior decoration, was a royal downer as well. What gives, universe? The only thing that cheered me up at all was HLM, who talked to me and bought Quicksilver, the new Neal Stephenson book, and rubbed my feet. *purr*

(Funny factoid about new marriage: because we married on the 13th, our anniversary will always be a bit unlucky if you're into superstition, and every now and then we'll get a Friday the 13th. However, the leap year makes us skip it the next time around... so we won't have a Friday the 13th anniversary until our tenth one in 2013. *laugh* as if I can even look that far ahead!)

Okay, back to looking for the bug.

You will find the bug! It can't hide. Breathe in, breathe out, surf the web, chat with a coworker ... it'll get bored and leave it's hiding place.

Actually, I just found it. They cannot hide forever. But they can hide for 2 working days, which is enough to be worrisome with a demo close by. Whooo! *relief*

Now to go fix it, another job entirely. And an easier one.

Well, technically. But, truth is we were lying in bed discussing this, and he said "I'll be 41" and I about freaked out. I'll be married to a 41-year-old... shoot me now!, I said.

And I know this will not seem bad to me when I'm 26 + 10 = 36. But I can't imagine being 36. The mind boggles. Yeesh.

I DON'T WANT TO GET OLD!!!

Actually, in the last couple of years I've met quite a few people around 40 (and a couple more around 60) who seem quite fit and give me hope. Please let me turn out like them, please please.

Meanwhile, 12 days til doooooom for me... *doom*30*doom* ... sigh.
