Soooo clean--and thumbnail question
I'd just like to say that my house is pretty clean now. I did the dishes, wiped the counters, and then mopped for what must have been the first time in 2 months (disgusting, yes, true). I even scrubbed the tile behind where the new garbage can is... you know, the place where there were all those streaks of crud on the walls from us rebounding stuff into the old garbage can. (The new one has a lid specifically so we can't do that anymore.) It's soooo much better.
I did a few more thank-you notes too, including
bluechromis's finally. Only 3-4 left to go, yay. Now if only I could figure out why HLM hasn't started on his... why why? Sure, I know it's a pain, but all the stuff including stamps is in one place on the table, and he's had plenty of chances to sit and do them right along with me, and he doesn't even have that many to do. I can't remind him about them anymore either... he's starting to get annoyed. :b
Question, now, for you geek types: what's a good way to make a bunch of thumbnails? There's gotta be something quicker than resizing them one at a time. I'd rather have something that would do it for a whole folder's worth of pictures at once, or else just take a filepath and generate a thumbnail, without making me open each image. Any advice would be mucho appreciated.

Jealous
A friend of mine uses IDS (http://ids.sourceforge.net/) to host his pictures on the web. It automatically generates thumbnails (and alternate size pics) on demand. Even if you don't want to host your own photo album, you might be able to use IDS to easily creat the thumbnails, and then copy them where ever you need them.?
No need for that, silly bear
Do you have Photoshop?
Sweet!
(Considering how lazy I've been so far with getting wedding pictures up, I may indeed stoop to using its generated pages, at least for a first cut. I've never done such a thing before, but if there ever was an appropriate time, this is it.)

If you prefer the 'free' route and aren't afraid to do a little work "ImageJ" is a java API that you can hook into your program (http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/)
I used it to make my own image gallery (which auto-generates thumbnails for me thanks to imageJ) : http://www.web-rat.com/Downloads/cfmx/shak/
