Cutting way back on the booze

I'm pretty sure that late-night alcohol messes up my sleep and makes it less restful. That fuzzy feeling is nice, all right, and a drink while on a date is probably still going to be fine (dinnertime is earlier; and sex has a way of preventing the usual side effects of... well, everything). But I think I'm done with sitting around at home drinking half a hard cider on weeknights; I've been experimenting with doing that and not doing that, and have concluded that the net effect isn't positive anymore.

Sigh. Isn't my tolerance supposed to increase over time? I've been practicing my drinking and I only seem to get more sensitive.

same here. made the mistake of having a margarita with dinner the other night and it just about knocked me out.

meaning, I collapsed completely then woke hours later restlessly in the middle of the night.
