Today's a very special anniversary for me and ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
heisenbug, one of those rare ones whose value is one less than a power of two such that I get all-red roses. And when I get roses, so does Nala, of course...
We celebrated last night, with fancy Persian dinner at Lala Rokh. Despite the unwelcome arrival of a green pepper on my plate (rapidly deported to the other plate across the table), it was quite delicious... interesting art on the walls and eventual appearance of saffron ice cream in my dessert bowl. I kept looking across the table thinking how good-looking my bug is, and we talked peaceably about important future-facing things; something we don't do as often as we might, given how good it always makes me feel.
It was productive, too. Pending some investigation into ethical sourcing, I am clear to begin the process of acquiring something I've wanted for a long, long time. Yep! 2014 is shaping up to be good.
Then home to fireplace snuggles, and kitteh. Fall asleep on rug. Move to bed. Wake up to falling snow, cancelled handstand lesson, and unexpected time in which to write this post.

So jealous about the kitten, they are fabulous. My husband wants a savannah cat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savannah_(cat)). That's one of those "if we hit the lottery" purchases.
