Stressed and femme

Sometimes stress makes me go oddly femme, and I find myself looking at the Urban Decay or MAC page when I should be working. I want to go to Sephora this weekend, I think... eyeshadow primer looks like a very good thing, and I want more eyeshadows in brown, taupe, and bronze (love my Naked2 Basics, but honestly only a couple of the colors there). I want some brownish purplish something.

You know what else I used to have? A concealer for under-eye circles that actually worked on me. It was glorious, but my color changed. I should try again.

Anyone local feel like a Sephora trip?

I very rarely wear eye makeup, but I swear by eye shadow primer now that I've tried it - stuff stays put! :-)
My girly moment lately has been an attempt to keep my nails painted - I just bought a top coat for the first time in a continuing attempt to have this stuff last longer than a couple of days without chipping and having to take it all off again.
Sorry that you're stressed, hope pretty things make you feel better!

Turns out that the "red Sally Hansen" bottle that I kept seeing on xovain.com is also an instant drying top coat - wait 2 mins after your last colour layer, put this on and bam, dry! This is going to revolutionise my life, no more waiting 15-20 minutes between coats to be absolutely sure I don't mess it up. :-) Nails are still perfect today (okay, it's only been two days, but I'm encouraged, there's been a lot of typing).
I think I've had a pro mani maybe 3x in my life? They tend to cut back my cuticles too much and then the skin peels for a week. :-/

I totally get this. My last stress-fueled shopping trip resulted in the purchase of two dresses. I pretty much never wear dresses, but there you go.

I love absolutely love Sephora. Maybe too much, I can never leave there without spending less than $60. I rack up those VIP points like its my job. If I was back in Mass I would totally be your Sephora shopping buddy :)
