In-laws, dragon pistols, 8 to 10, and Fluevogs
I like writing LJ posts, but sometimes my life gets so wonk that I can't for a while.
So you missed some things, LJ! You missed last week how I ran across dragon pistols, and was instantly charmed and intrigued because I collect pistol variations and that is a BADASS one. It took me three days to do my first full rep, and I remain enamored. They get wonderful responses, on the order of "Wait what? Did you just pass your arm through your leg!?" Totally my best new party trick.
(The same trainer and same athlete are into a bunch of other nutty parkour-training stuff: see also butterfly squat, which reminds me of Toledo's "improper alignment" training rant).
You missed that I've been playing Alphabear for a while, and I like it.

heisenbug, of course, I did my best to do the hostess thing when not working. I think all traces of their visit are finally expunged from the house.
Work has been MADNESS, and I'm expanding my little team from 8 to 10 people. One person's already planning to transfer in, the other will probably be new to the company since I tend to alternate that way. It's exciting and also, uh, big. When did I get so grown-up as to have opinions on hiring policy and how it affects team culture, ferfucksake?
I've finally ordered Fluevog's Axe shoes, after many months of drooling and now seeing them go on sale with not all sizes available anymore. I don't currently have anything like them. I'm pretty sure I just got a spot bonus at work, and if I did I'm going to get these slashed-up black shorts too. Sexxxy!
