Wiggling, stretching, cat health

Pride wenteth before a fall, on those handstands -- plenty of wiggling and falling over on Monday and Wednesday and today. Pokemon has taken to making us walk on our hands a little each class; taking four controlled steps and then stopping feels impossible. I practice my McKayla Maroney face, before it, and then I give it my best try.

Acro's good though, and work is okay. And my kitty gave me a scare at the vet on Wednesday, with an inflamed anal gland plus weight loss, but she is okay too (the lump was a gland, not cancer), and so my family is okay.

The weirdest moment of the week was doing a frog stretch and, for the first time in my life, having it feel good instead of hurt. Seriously. Frog stretches have always hurt. But there I was, reading my magazine, and after maybe 30 seconds I noticed that... nothing hurt. In fact, my inner thighs felt happy and warm, almost as if I were straddling a heating pad. It honestly freaked me out, and I wasn't sure how to come out of the stretch safely, given that my nerves had (as far as I could tell) gone completely haywire or maybe been severed. I got out though, and nothing bad happened, and my legs didn't fall off.

I keep meaning to do frog stretch more often (inner thighs are always a problem for me), but doing it while reading sounds like a viable plan.

I'm very glad that your legs didn't fall off.
