Topping from Below, isn't it? Yeah, it is an odd-shaped book. It's not particularly well-written (the narrator's descriptions of herself annoyed me), and I don't tend to like mysteries, but parts of it are affecting nonetheless.
I remember now I found myself liking the shape, by the end, and felt cramped when I went back to normal paperbacks. Interesting.
At any rate, good luck to you and HLM. Looking forward to seeing the transition from soyfetus to homeownerfetus .. or, is that houseOfFetus? Does this mean you two are gonna buy a t.v. now?
Hehehe... well I suppose that's what you get when you offer the asking price and wave the pre-approval letter as you rumble in on your white charger. :) The quick response actually makes me think maybe we shouldn't have offered so much. Then again, we'll never know... offering less might have just led to a nasty bidding war and other stressful events like losing the place.
Congratulations! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the inspection goes well for you. So far it's sounding like you were meant to have this place. If so, then everything will progress smoothly.
