[7.0%] My body is still being weird, but there's progress
I finally have my period after a startling delay... 34 days?? I'd been steady at more like 27 for a while.
I also woke up on Monday with a deep 1" scratch on the side of my face, right over my cheekbone by my left eye. :-/ It is dramatic, and almost certainly self-inflicted -- I'm sure I would have woken up if Norwood or his dog had attacked my face like that. So there is this week's weirdness, arriving just as last week's weirdness was clearing up. Hopefully a one-time adventure.
Last weekend turned out to be useless in that I didn't get any work done, but I did have a lovely time with all my people -- yes, all two people I don't live with who I ever see! -- and I finished a lot of books. I finished Turned On (nonfiction, about sex robots), Rodham (fiction, in which Hillary doesn't marry Bill and it's glorious), and What is this thing called love (poetry by Kim Addonizio), not to mention getting a long way through Damage in which people behave very, very badly in the name of sexual obsession. I finished that one yesterday and I'm glad it was a quick read, because that stuff's difficult for me.
Before all that was a good talk with the bug, in which we decided to order a real weight bench and also rearrange a bunch of stuff to make a better gym area for it. It'll definitely be a project. More for him than for me, but I do expect it to take up a few hours of the coming weekend.
I also have a new strength training program from a coach in Australia, which I hope to start on Saturday. Two workouts/week.
Things have generally felt like I'm treading water, but when I write it down it seems like a lot is happening or getting done.

There is a little bit of kink, and it's poetic / quotable, but it's more about the obsession than about the sex.
