The power of positive snoozing

Has anyone here ever read The Glunk that Got Thunk? It's a really old Dr. Seuss story from before he got all famous. It's about a kid sister who basically dreams up something nasty (the Glunk) that becomes real. After our hero and the sister banish it together, the story ends like this: Then I gave her quite a talking-to about her thinker-upper. Now she only thinks up fuzzy things in the evening after supper.

So, last night I made sure to fall asleep thinking about nice things like weddings and how happy I am to have my bug, and lifting. No career thinking, no TKD thinking allowed. What happened? I had fine dreams, woke up when my clock rang and got in here at 8:05 (the earliest in weeks) in a good mood. Okay..... lesson learned!

Lurve that story...
