Evidence at last!
I did my usual Sunday workout today (Monday) because of yesterday's craziness, and to avoid last week's catastrophe I brought an actual camera to the gym this time. My mid-back shoveling muscles gave a little twinge on my third set of squats that made me stop immediately, so my muscles didn't exhaust themselves and I really wasn't doing as well with my splits practice as I was last week, but I still got there. And here, finally, is proof:

I'm still *nearly* there, but haven't really attempted much of any stretching for the last 10 months or so. January will be a new beginning.

Nope, all's well... I've been remarkably free of overstretching-type incidents this year!
