The collection of "percentage" blogs continues

Mmmmm, sea turtle bacon.

Note: yes, there is evidence of photoshopping and possible fakery on the 53% blog. I doubt any of the others are free of fakers, and some (see above) are fake from start to finish. They're still interesting, primarily because this is the widest-ranging and most public discussion of personal finance I've ever seen.

According to the most recent numbers I've heard, by the way, household income had to be over $500K in 2010 for that household to be in the top 1% of income. A household had to have somewhere between $2 million and $3 million to be in the top 1% for net worth. Oddly, I'm still not clear on what the original 99% group is focused on, but anyway, I feel I've heard a lot of my peers say they identify with the "nice" 1% folks on westandwiththe99percent.tumblr.com when they're not in that top category. Sorry, but just not. (Neither are [livejournal.com profile] heisenbug and I, with two Zillian engineering salaries.)
