That's right. I'm on the rag, it's that time, I'm on my moon, it's my pink week, the painters are in... the communists are in the summer house. Not such an interesting event, but it's fun to use all the euphemisms I learned on vaginapagina. :)

My in-laws arrive tonight. We fly to California tomorrow morning.

Today's word is octothorp.

I took a risk last night and bought Me Talk Pretty One Day for the airplane, in spite of having read several 5-page swaths of it in bookstores and barely cracked a smile. Everyone says it's hilarious... fine. Even if I give it away on the other end of the trip, at least I'll know. And I'll still have made my contribution to our new local bookstore, which has to be kept alive.

hiddenbear, it has to be a new friend at the massage place every time. You're welcome to be the first friend though! Let's talk when I get back next week.

I had a massage once and I didn't like it... the thought of someone touching me gave me the creeps. I only liked to be touched when I'm being comforted or having sex. or both.

So where are your inlaws flying in from that they're meeting you in Boston? Or are you not going to CA with them? Why are you going to CA? Why don't I know any of this? You never write, you never call, you never care to tell me about anything anymore. It's because I fall behind in LJ posting/commenting isn't it. I'm sorry! I'll try harder!

Ha ha. That's some impressive whining for someone who I didn't even know was in VA until she got back. Time was, a woman was allowed to have a bit of mystery in her life, you know. :)

The travel bit is complex. The in-laws are coming in from OR tonight for unknown reasons... then tomorrow morning we leave for CA for V-the-bridesmaid's wedding while the MIL leaves for Michigan. The FIL rattles around our place all weekend, feeding the cats and presumably snooping in the drawers where we keep sex toys. On Sunday night we get back and on Monday (?) the MIL gets back. Then next Thursday they finally leave.

See, I barely understand it all myself. But yes, it's all your fault and you should be posting some more. Post post.
