So... I was having sex today with my beloved and tolerant husband. For whatever reason we had two cats with us on the bed (they usually leave at some point during the process, but they seemed especially relaxed this time). We ended up in doggy style, so I was looking down at the bed when, just as we were reaching those final male-orgasm moments, Rafe curled so he was looking up at us and YAWNED. A deep, bone-cracking, you couldn't possibly be more boring kind of yawn.

I cracked up, of course. And then had to explain to poor HLM just what I was laughing at. :)

I have to lock the dogs out when we have sex. They stare. It's like having sex in front of my children! Well, they are my children, after all. I feel like I'm traumatizing them. I'm sure all they are doing is wondering what we are doing and when will we stop so they can get on the bed and cuddle but it still completely weirds me out.

I once knew a dog, this little (fixed) terrier, who humped everything. Your leg, the floor, a blanket inching its way across the floor, the furniture, the other dog (also a terrier, who fled whenever Jake got that look in his eye)... if dogs can be nymphos, this one was.

I was once having sex and my cat *sniffed* at us and then wandered off looking disgusted as only cats can! My boyfriend at the time refused to have sex with the cat in the room after that.

I admit that the cats put me off masturbation though... they watch me as if to say, what's the point in what you're doing?
