I just bought a ton of music:
Also, I just discovered pandora.com, which is bad because I have that nagging, tickling feeling that someone else has already posted about it and I forgot and now I'm being a dweeb by acting like I just heard of it. But... it's nifty. You can enter a song that you like, and it makes up a custom "radio station" of songs that are similar to that song in some really sophisticated ways. Give it a shot if you missed that earlier post by whoever already mentioned it.
- Nude by VAST(what the hell, I've been listening a lot more to Music For People lately...)
- 2 AM Wakeup Call by Tweaker, an entire album about insomnia and dreams
- Floodland by Sisters of Mercy
- Mezzanine by Massive Attack
- Deep Forest by Deep Forest (the top review says: It's not that different from what we hear today from Fatboy Slim and Moby, except of course with Pygmies. Um, yeah! I must have it!)
- Cantata Mundi by Adiemus (remember the shout-out I gave to their other album, Songs of Sanctuary, lately?)
