I have a new fan!

Last night we got lots of wedding stuff; the Slinkies and one bridesmaid's dress. I tried on the latter for A and he liked it... didn't let me keep it on for very long, actually. I do hope he doesn't react that way every time he sees someone in it. I think he was mostly just happy that his huge project is going well, but that spilled over to horny rather nicely IMHO. Then I came to work early this morning (with 3 dozen donuts--I expect love today) and found this email in my inbox:

Heh. Suddenly I feel pretty good. I should write some more of that poetry stuff, sometime. :)

More poetry stuff...

At rumgirl's suggestion I bopped over to poetry.com and got published; I put my Sept 11 poem on their already bloated 9/11 page, and used Acceptance, the poem that'll go in our wedding program, to enter their monthly contest. Wheeeeeee. I give myself low odds.

It is a cool site though; I'm a little more interested in the self-publishing links, and a little worried about their daily Poetry in Motion contest, which is basically like refrigerator poetry except that every day you have a chance to win $100. I can see an addiction forming there. (They have a daily haiku contest as well. Oy vey.)
