Who's weirder--the drunk guy who regaled me yesterday with a long description of the movie Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison while I was waiting for the bus, or the coworker who came into my office this morning and told me I didn't look like the kind of person who liked to cook? I can't decide either. :-/

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is coming out on the same day has my 4-year anniversary at DSB, as though to take my mind off the matter. Does that signify anything? I dunno either. : - /

I found out that one can buy all the Cheapass Hip Pocket games for a lousy $30. I submitted a photo, that last one, to dpchallenge, viewable starting Wednesday. I remembered how lousy C++ really is at dealing with multidimensional arrays. Found out that another newish guy is quitting DSB... good for him. And my friend Y asked me to be a bridesmaid for her, next February... that one at least was easy. I said kewl beans and yes I will. :)

and this is someone I was astonished to see even getting married. Holy shit. So that's four friends I definitely consider peers, now, who've done it... E the gay daddy, M the bridesmaid, T the adopting work friend, and now zgirl. (Editor bear is a little older, and thus less surprising.)

I kind of wonder how FMIL is doing with her "oh no, I'm getting a shitty daughter-in-law who doesn't want babies" issues. I haven' t asked lately, and I don't think I will, either.
