Grumbling... while a baby is born.
Jun. 24th, 2003 01:03 pmSigh... this is an emotional, not an intellectual, reaction to things, but: life sure seems like a lot of work right now. Er, I mean, challenging, rewarding directed effort! Er, no, actually I mean work.
*grumble*
Flea cleaning done, no more flea evidence even found. Big stack of invitations mailed out (spent an hour playing with flame and melted wax, only burned myself once). Feuding with noid boi done for now. Fixing things at work.
But, Jesus... news flash! I installed AIM to find out about dress fittings (trust me, that did make sense--and it was successful), and found out that my friend M is in labor right now... contractions 10 to 15 minutes apart. She's still at home, but the baby is coming in the middle of the night, germany time, we all guess. I am still so impressed at how she's headed straight into all this with no evident sign of fear.... And I've probably said that about five times now, but that's all right, because I'm that impressed. Anyway, they're going to either call or email me as soon as it's over, probably sometime tonight.
