Yesterday I got some blood drawn for the premarital medical test. In 7 to 10 days the lab will say I don't have syphilis, and then HLM and I can boogie to the courthouse together and get our marriage license. And in the meantime I get to feel a bit tired, and wonder how long it takes the body to remanufacture a little vial's worth of blood. Or do blood levels fluctuate that much anyway? I don't even know... but I always feel tired after blood tests.

Despite the minor blood loss, and DOMS in a couple of places from moving B's stupid couch, tonight is the night I earn my blue stripe. (I think I can, I think I can...) I have all my gear, and my ibuprofen and my new bottle of glutamine and my bright orange Dr. Seuss shirt (not the best color on me, but great for morale). I don't know what's up with y'all's games, btw, but I've decided it would be best if nobody came to spectate; I'll have enough or too much to think about as it is. I would be tickled pink if you guys ever wanted to come watch a class and then have dinner, though. Whaddaya think? One of these Wednesdays, maybe?

And that's all that's going on. I'm working, and nervously eyeing my calendar, and reading letters from the FMIL about the rehearsal dinner.

Damn...

So my friend, to whom I wrote email yesterday instead of posting to LJ since I've noticed a nasty inverse correlation between those activities, wrote back to me. He said, I checked out your registries at Amazon and the other place. Not much left. So, all a-twitter, I went to look at the registries. But nobody's bought us a blessed thing! I guess we didn' t register for all that much in the first place.
