Last night's dream, and an opportunity
Nov. 14th, 2003 04:39 pmI remembered last night's dream--I dreamed I hatched a kitten out of an egg. It was no surprise either, it was more like oh cool, my kitten finally hatched! After that the kitten, which was really more of a small, full-grown cat, was living with us. It was a nice dream.
Also, I had lunch with Katie my DC teacher, and she asked me if I'd be interested in being a team leader for one of her next classes. Whoa... that's kind of a highish honor. I would be so interested--as long as it was in a few months, which she assures me it would be, and not right now. I came in from that lunch so happy I dealt with the office meanie probably better than I ever have before. Can't touch this! Who-o-o-a -- can't touch this.
(No worries, guys, I'm not going to turn totally Carnegie-bot on y'all... she told me what you have to go through to become an actual teacher and it sounds like ninth-level hell. 400 hours of training followed by 3 days in front of a panel of people who are trying their best to rattle you. Yipes. Team leader though... that sounds attainable. :)
