Retail therapy
Jan. 14th, 2004 09:46 amI found some supercute boots at DSW last night, after totally wasting my time at Filene's for a while. ( Yay! ) I tried them on with the little skirt just to make sure I wouldn't look too trashy (or maybe to make sure I looked trashy enough--not sure), and the results made me happy. Plus, the landlords are interested in the apartment nibble-guys from last weekend! So we called them. Come on, nibbles, bite. Bite bite bite. :)
Today should be nice and business-y. I know I have to deal more with the lawyer and banker. Plus get some real work done. Plus I'm supposed to meet HLM in Porter at lunch to decide on a couch for the new place. Doesn't look at this point like I can justify the cost of the one I really love, the one with a chaise lounge, but if we can get a matching ottoman for the cheaper one, that'll be good enough for this time around.
