Short skirts and cybercrap
Mar. 2nd, 2004 10:05 amVery few bloggers on Net, they say. Funny, the numbers don't sound that low to me.
I had dreams last night about buying cute skirts, and finding boots that were really comfortable but turned out to cost $313 (especially odd since I dreamed I was at Tello's, the cheapest store ever, at the time). I ran into Sarah, and also
bluechromis, who wanted me to go somewhere with her but I told her I wasn't done shopping yet... and there were some very cute grey tights with darker grey squares on them that I really liked. I was going to buy those and a skirt I found that was made of the same fabric as one of my miniskirts, but was mid-calf length and somehow really attractive.
I woke up thinking about all that, so today I'm wearing a short denim skirt, plain gray tights and the same boots I wore to
andycomment's birthday. I hope my feet make it through the day, but I have jazz shoes to change into in case they don't. :)

I was getting nasty mental whiplash switching between reading Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan and Moonheart by Charles de Lint, so am sticking with Altered Carbon until the end. Rah rah! Weapons and biochem and hard-boiled cybermachoness is everything! Hippy-dippy otherworldly stuff will just have to wait.
