The condo feels clean, empty, quiet and spacious with HLM gone. The cats don't seem to miss him yet, and neither do I really. It takes a couple of days. It helps to know he's fine, and that he found the copy of this book I planted in his duffel before he left. How did couples survive before telephones and email?
