Green line news, work, blah...
May. 12th, 2005 09:11 pmCool news about the long-promised green line extension through Somerville to Medford. Apparently this was on the front page of the Metro today. If it really is extending along Highland, goddamn will our property value go through the roof. And my commute should improve. Yay, happy wiggles! Official information on the alternatives they're considering can be found here.
I 'm experiencing a lot of anxiety about work. I've spent 1.5 days now in new employee training with T, who started yesterday and who I think I'll start calling TBW because I don't like one-letter names. (What does it stand for? Twice-baked coworker, of course. I wonder where we'll decide to work when we get tired of the Frog.) However, my real work is piling up. And I can't even get to it because other people keep coming to me for things that are not my work. Speaking of which, I brought a test plan home to critique and I'd better start reading it now. Sigh.
The good news is that I just got back from B & D's engagement celebration dinner, and it was good to see them and they seem really happy.
