“We have a plan. Commence deviation.”
Feb. 5th, 2006 09:06 pmI'm just about equally fascinated by the Getting Things Done (GTD) system and the marvellously freeing idea of goal-free living. I'm pretty sure I've been down with the second one, in theory if not always in practice, ever since I got out of Montana. And I'm pretty sure I could use the first one, having read an article on the plane to Belize that said a lot of things I liked; especially the idea of a giant "core dump" in which you write down EVERYTHING that's looming over you (yes, the article said it can take a few hours). Thus, I'm getting a wiggly little feeling of amusement over how much they are trying to sound like opposites when I don't think they really are.

I know what you might be thinking at this point: post about your vacation, flexy! But, actually, I am. I have done a lot of spacing out and not-thinking in the last week; but, you know, all things in moderation. :) A more traditional vacation post is coming, complete with pictures of lizards.
