Yesterday in yoga we did this kooky version of salabhasana (locust pose). Who the heck knew that was possible? I don't know whether to tell you it's harder or easier than it looks; I was able to do it, both in class and at the gym today, but I found it more than a bit painful around the neck. I'm not sure it's worth it.
We just got back from "You Oughta Be in Pictures", a midnight showing of homemade adult films at the Coolidge Corner theater. It was nice because a) it was a chance to hang out with friends, b) it was all DIY so it was obviously all consensual, and c) for the most part it wasn't overly slick and glossy, just something done to varying degrees of quality by real people (like blogs! like zines!).
