Best line I've come out with in a while

Today we had a pointless 2-hr meeting from 11:00 to 1:00 (the giant Colubrid-style kind where an entire conference room of people is sitting around listening to a speakerphone and watching slides). Like any sane person might, I nipped out to the cafe at 10:50, found some food to go and ate lunch at noon (as did my co-worker Curmudgeon). We discussed afterward how we've learned to insist upon eating at a reasonable hour, and I said yeah, I'm a strong believer in animal rights for software engineers.
