Kind of in warrior mode, it would seem

Thanks to all of you who left kind comments a week ago today. I collapsed for the evening and then spent the rest of the week pulling off a fairly impressive rally. I worked long hours, and some weekend hours, and the thing I was working on has gone to QA for testing, and the most important patches are in. It's not over, but I'm still standing.

I had just one moment of real happiness today, and it wasn't even in yoga class (which was also delicious; my inner thighs have been feeling great lately, and actually enjoying being stretched, and I got to do lots of arm balances)... no, it was playing ping-pong in the game room at work. I was playing really well and so was my opponent, and we had some long volleys where, if I didn't quite become one with the ball, it was close. Then the people playing Rock Band started playing Boston: I understand about indecision, I don't care about gettin' behind. People livin' in competition, all I want is to have my peace of mind. I hit the ball and hit the ball and hit the ball and felt shimmeringly joyful for a minute or two. So nice. Then I lost the match and it ended, but goddamn it, I'll always have the memories. :)
