Two out of three
May. 24th, 2009 05:53 pmI'm feeling a little bit beleaguered today. Yesterday I felt like I had time for all kinds of fun little projects... coding, writing, crafting. Today, on the other hand, has just flown. The world is a demanding place. I'm glad it's a 3-day weekend, because I have more stuff to do; more organizing, more writing.
Anyway, two things: HAPPY ZEROTH ANNIVERSARY to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dr_alycat and cook_ting, who are getting married today and therefore won't see this. :)
And I made three pairs of earrings last night, mostly out of pieces of other earrings that I bought for cheap. Here they are on the edge of a saucer:
The middle ones match a necklace I have, and they match it a lot better than the originals did. (The originals also gave me the metal circles for the earrings on the left.) The others should match everything. It's kind of sad, but true, that cheap hoochie earrings can be a better source of cool bits and pieces than a bead store.
And, wow, the skies just opened up -- here comes the RAIN!
