Yesterday contained some surprises and some weirdness (I cashed out major benjamins from stock options! but wait, someone I like is maybe getting fired!), but today has upped the ante on all of it.
One mother-in-law gone for the week (she'll be back).
Two cats taken to the vet and microchipped.
Three code changelists sent for review, despite coming in late.
One friend announcing a miscarriage. :-(
One friend announcing an engagement. :-)
One crappy yoga class in which I was very tired and had no balance and felt discouraged.
1/2 melotonin pill washed down with Sleepytime Extra because I am tired of today. Go away, Tuesday, just go away. If I can go to sleep early enough to get to work early enough tomorrow, then I can get a free Belgian waffle at work... with strawberries and walnuts on top.
There's a meeting tomorrow at work for all the engineers at the office, so there are plenty of chances for more shockers before I can digest any of this. The Winemaker could say anything, and with the way this week is going he probably will. Nothing I can do about it except bring knitting, so that I have something to do with my hands after he makes everyone shut their laptops, and maybe assume some sort of crash position.
