I had a lovely time with apfelsingail this weekend, and it was SO WELL TIMED for both of us.

• I like chicken tortilla soup! Who knew? I even might want to try making it.


• I read Paying For It, a comic book memoir of being a john in Toronto, on the plane down. It was excellent and thought-provoking.


• $25 for an hour-long foot massage, $10 more for an extra 15 minutes or so around the shoulders? Yes please. Must investigate foot massage places in Boston.


• We split a semiprivate handstand class. The teacher focused on totally different stuff than my usual one, and for the first time I pressed off a surface with no help!!! Whoa. I have got to find a way to duplicate that setup back at Nearby Circus School, and I have to do the exercise she gave me.


• I have friends with strange and awesome powers. To be discussed on a filter, but let's just say I got some email that was deeply entertaining and really cheered me up.


• Acroyoga with the Atlanta monkey crowd was so fun! I got to do some demos, and then really throw down with the teacher in the park after class.


• Caught up on kiva.org and they have a way to automatically schedule monthly additions of credit now. FINALLY! And there was one other pleasant piece of financial news that will get its own post in a while.

Ack. Plane is preparing to land -- I'd best post.
