Lazy Christmas
Dec. 26th, 2014 05:39 pmIt seems rather trendy to dislike Christmas, these days. I've been flouting that tradition, preferring instead to keep the elements I like (time off work, pretty lights, gifts) and to skip the whole religion-and-family thing.
Thus it was that I spent all of yesterday on the giant beanbag, nestled in with The Dreaming Void and Hypercube (oh, and it's kitten's first Christmas, of course -- how she loves the tree). I bestirred myself for coffee and to cook dinner with
heisenbug, and traded little "Merry day of" emails with
norwoodbridge, and read for hours, and that was it. Delightful.
