Blink and you miss it
Apr. 10th, 2016 07:23 pmMore new stuff:
heisenbug is probably getting an offer from a local startup (cue tricksy finance discussions), and I did my 2nd ever 60-second handstand on Friday (no proof, but I swear I counted slowly. To 63. And didn't start until I'd been up probably a good three seconds.)
I think I found a T-shirt bra that I can handle wearing, this summer; it has strap adjusters in the front rather than the back, and in 34A it doesn't gap on the top slope of my breasts. So yay. I've done remarkably well lately with going bra-less, honestly, but I did want at least one item of some description that would keep me from nipping out under light clothing.
Still don't know where to buy other new clothes. Comment if you have an idea for a brand I might particularly like? I am into solid-colored tops with substantial (not gauzy) fabric, and fitted at least through the natural waist. Tunics are good. Handkerchief hems, ruching, texture, grommets, and interesting cuts are A-OK, but I am not playing with color at this time.
Solid handstand and acro fun today -- oh, and I also watched someone do their first straddle handstand press, right after they said they'd barely started working on such things. It's hard to even get angry. Some people just live in an alternate universe where such things happen, and it doesn't change anything about mine.
