I think I'll talk about the things that aren't work.

Starting with: yay, Norwood broke up with the girlfriend I didn't like. It was mutual, and they waited so long to do it that in the end the talk was short and gloriously petty. Three days later, amusingly, he kicked his dog adoption efforts into high gear... the jokes just write themselves. So now it's just me and The Sane One in his life, and perhaps soon some kind of Labrador mix, and everyone seems happier.

My trio acro act got a full run-through with the music, last Tuesday, and I've solved the problem we were having with blocking for our final move. Relatedly, I got to see several of my favorite circus performers perform on Friday night, including [personal profile] justplainuniverse who was asked to sub in on duo trap well after I'd gotten tickets and who was awesome as always. We didn't get to hang out, but did briefly chat, and she very gracefully handled the instagram follower I brought over to her. And the reason this was related to my act at all -- it was the same venue where I'll be performing, and I got to hop up on the stage afterward and pace some things out. So that was both cool and useful. With a shout-out to my professionally tiny coach who put herself through a custom-made tiny aerial ring, too.

This weekend was... sleepy. I went to see Lion yesterday afternoon, and he curled up and fell asleep with his head on my lap, so after a while I fell asleep too; woke up/recovered just in time to go to the party I was supposed to go to. It was a very nice nap, so nice that I took another one with Norwood today. Some serious sleeping around, I know. What a nap slut. Turns out I am getting my period, which explains it, and my body did give me a full 28 days this time so I can't even complain.
