Acceleration

I had an astonishing run of things going wrong on Wednesay (a phone thing, then a car thing, then a dead-laptop thing. Also, it turns out, a covid exposure). But the kicker is absolutely that my dad's nursing home jumped from "maybe your dad can go home on July 10" to "your dad has to go home on June 29". This, even though his home is not set up with any of the items he needs, and his wife has fucking covid (literally Tuesday's ridiculous news).

So basically the bug and I are going out there on Friday. Tomorrow. I'll have half a day to set up the house, instead of the five days I'd been planning on.

Didn't sleep much last night. Won't sleep much tonight.
