Ahh. It's always a bit of a surprise when I'm crushed under a load of work for a while, and it turns out there's still me under there. Of course I had plans to do tons of useful things with my free evening, and instead worked on travel plans (my own and my mother's) all evening. I guess that was useful too. But tonight I have to do my Scheme homework!

Thinking about roller coasters and then about the county fair I always went to when I was little (oh, the Zipper!), it crossed my mind to wonder for the millionth time about the mysteries of avoid the noid. All those little red Noids that were prizes for those stupid games I could never win. What could it all have meant? Ah... Wikipedia never fails. I love the information age.

(Yeah, I suppose if I'd had a TV as a kid I wouldn't need Wikipedia so much now, but hey.)

Yeah, the noid was a little character for dominios back in the day. He was all over the place.

For what it's worth, I've never seen Sesame Street. I get Sesame Street and the Muppets mixed up sometimes. :-)
