A quote and an evil ab exercise

Nice, huh? By changing one measly letter a false, infuriating statement becomes both hilarious and true.

Annnnnnyway, I forgot to tell you about an evil ab exercise I learned: sit down on the floor with both legs out straight in front of you. Lean forward, with straight arms and preferably a straight back, and put your hands on the floor somewhere on either side of your legs. Next to your knees or thighs is fine. (You can also tent the fingers if you like -- it makes the exercise easier). Now, without moving your upper body at all, start raising and lowering your legs. Keep them straight.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for reminding me about vagina_pagina. I was able to get a lot of information from the links (nice, reputable links that don't create pop-ups on my computer!), and I feel a lot better.

I'm going to talk to my OB/Gyn about it when I see her, but I have a feeling it's nothing based on what I've read. And if it is something, at least I know what they'll be doing to assess it.

oh i love making my students do that ab exercise. i am the one who brought it to lava. good for trapeze toe-ups. sej always looks at me strangely when i have the students do it because i don't think she's ever done it. the students on the other hand look at me with pathetic, wounded eyes and it makes me smile.
